BIOGRAPHY:

I was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire on the 31st March 1972.

I trained and worked as a chef for 21 years in which time I reached my goal of becoming a Head Patissier in hotels/restaurants of high repute around London and abroad. These included the London Hilton Park Lane, Browns in Mayfair, Selfridges and on Daydream Island in the Great Barrier Reef-Australia.

Even though I had a passion for cooking in abundance I always knew I had more to offer on the creative side.

This led to me attending acting workshops in my spare time, and gaining a LAMDA qualification, run by the Maddermarket Theatre, Norwich, England.

Parts in various theatre productions such as Black Coffee, The Importance of Being Earnest and A Christmas Carol materialised and after that initial experience I guess I knew acting was the avenue I wanted to venture down..

With my real love for TV / Film and wanting to gain more experience, I secured main roles in short films ranging from being an SAS Trooper, a Northern Council Representative to being a Heroin Addict.

Television work then followed with roles in Holby City, Agatha Christies Poirot, HG Wells-(War To The World), Assault on Waco and several more.

Over the following years credits  involved appearances in feature films such as Basic Instinct 2, V for Vendetta, Tristram Shandy (A Cock and Bull Story), Children of Men and the Flood.

Versatility, I believe is very important nowadays and as I am always wanting a new challenge, I not only concentrated on acting. I decided to grab the opportunity of modelling, for the likes of The British Trust, Volkswagen, for sculptors as a life model and I became Carolyn Cowan's leading model for her Bodypainting Masterclasses.

Appearing in music videos, commercials, more tv programmes, shorts and features followed. I've had the pleasure of undertaking roles in Robin Hood directed by Ridley Scott, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, X-Men(First Class), Baseline, and Terror Nation to name just a few.

A couple of my recent projects 'The Devils Command' and 'The Hounds', in which I had integral roles, have won awards at several festivals in the uk and abroad.

Projects which are pending include main roles in the feature films...The City of Hell and Jewel of the Balkans.

My last role to date was in the feature 'Man in the Mirror'. Produced and directed by Mark Margason, Sir Dark Knight Films. Its in post production at present and I believe its destined for good things.

I am constantly looking primarily for interesting projects, films of various genres, and scripts / roles to challenge myself. This motivates me considerably and with the hunger to succeed that so much stronger.

My aim on this journey is to become a competent TV / Film actor, gaining as much knowledge as possible.

Deciding to relocate to Australia in 2016 was the start of another chapter and who knows what lies around the corner in this beautiful country. The main thing is to continue doing what I love and have fun.
